Usually I receive a lot of questions by email, questions about my photography or the photography in general. I’m sure that the answers are interesting for other peoples and maybe it is a good idea to make this public. So if you have questions, just post them here. I promise I’ll answer all of you.
De obicei primesc o gramada de intrebari pe mail. Intrebari legate de fotografiile pe care le fac dar si despre fotografie in general. Sunt sigur de faptul ca raspunsurile sunt interesante pentru mai multi dintre voi si cred ca e bine sa le fac publice. In concluzie, daca aveti intrebari va rog sa le postati aici. Azi am ajuns prin cladirea Generali de la Buzesti – Polizu cu ceva treaba. Daca tot am trecut pe acolo si daca tot am urcat pana la etajul treisprezece, am decis ca merita sa fac o fotografie. Cei ce inca nu au vazut Bucurestiul din unghiul acesta, sunt invitati sa priveasca.
Robert Doisneau… super oferta in Paris
Am incercat opt zile la rand, atat cat am stat in Paris, sa intru la o expoxitie Doisneau si nu am reusit pentru ca era coada. Sa nu va inchipuiti ca era o coada rezonabila, era mai ceva decat cozile de la carne de pe vremea bunicilor sau de cele de la Mc Donald’s de dupa revolutie.

Like I suppose you must know, a picture it is not a single picture. Usually the final picture is chose from an entire series of images. These are a few contact sheets of known “people I know” exhibition pictures.
James Dean on Times Square
It started out as an assignment and become a legacy. In 1955, the young Magnum photographer Dennis Stock accompanied the rising star James Dean in various locations from US. The resulting photographs would prove to be the best and the most intimate portrait of this idol of the new youth. James Dean died a few months later in a car accident.
